I had the pleasure of photographing a family who came to Japan from overseas for their holiday.
休暇で海外から日本へ遊びにいらっしゃったご家族の撮影をさせていただきました。
This time, they chose a very special experience—a Shichi-Go-San celebration!
今回は、なんと七五三バージョン！
Not only the children, but both mom and dad also dressed in traditional Japanese attire, making the day even more memorable.
お子様達のみならず、パパもママも和装で臨んでくださいました。
The preparations were kindly taken care of by the familiar Wafudo, a kimono shop in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture.
…お支度をしてくださったのは、おなじみの「和布堂」さん（愛知県瀬戸市）。
Housed in a traditional folk home with over 150 years of history, it is a place filled with warmth and character.

After finishing the pre-shoot at Wafudo, we headed out for the location photo session.
和布堂さんでの前撮りを無事に終え、いざロケーション撮影へ！
Our destination was Kamagaki no Komichi, a scenic walking path in Seto City.
瀬戸市の観光散策路、「窯垣の小径」へとやってきました♪
Despite it being January, the greenery was lush and gentle on the eyes, and in the crisp winter air, there was already a faint hint of spring.
1月とは思えないほど、しっとりとした緑が目にやさしく、冬の空気の中にほんのりと春の気配を感じさせてくれます。
Seto, a town known for its pottery, is filled with unique scenery—stone-paved paths and kiln walls built from stacked ceramic fragments,
焼き物の町・瀬戸ならではの、陶片を積み上げた窯垣や石畳の小道は、
each corner rich with character and beautifully complemented by traditional kimono.
どこを切り取っても味わい深く、和装姿がよく映える場所。
As we walked through the quiet lanes, only our footsteps echoed,
静かな路地を歩くたび、足音だけが響き、
and although it is a popular sightseeing spot, time seemed to pass more slowly there.
観光地でありながら、どこか時間がゆっくり流れているように感じられました。
As the surroundings worked their quiet magic,
肩の力がふっと抜けた自然な表情や、
relaxed expressions began to emerge, along with moments of casual family conversation.
ご家族の何気ない会話の瞬間が、
Those small, unguarded instants blended naturally with the atmosphere of the place, becoming images that felt especially meaningful.
この場所の空気と重なって、よりいっそう印象的なカットへとつながっていきます。
Wrapped in the clear winter light,
冬ならではの澄んだ光に包まれながら、
the session unfolded into a calm, warm moment—very much in keeping with the gentle spirit of Seto itself.
瀬戸の町らしい、落ち着きと温もりのある撮影時間となったのでした。

MCや俳優としてご活躍される３人のタレントの方達の宣材用のプロフィール写真を、今年もお撮りさせていただきました！
最初は池戸慎之助さま。
数々のTV番組やCMでナレーターをされていらっしゃるとのこと。
撮影現場で、実際に担当されたラグーナ蒲郡のCMナレーションを拝聴いたしましたが、
ほどよいテンポと穏やかな語り口が心地よく、自然と引き込まれていきました😊
…1年前より更に精悍さが増し、活躍の場を広げられていらっしゃる慎之助さま、今後大注目ですね！
…お次は、林ともみさま。
（株）尾張東部放送ラジオサンキューFM84.5にてパーソナリティを務められるかたわら、MC、タレント業をされていらっしゃいます。
昨年は、障害のあるお嬢様との日々を綴ったご著書『まぁるく生きる ― 幸せのカタチ。』を上梓され、
その想いを伝える講演の場でもご活躍されています✨
…最後は、池戸陽平さま。
俳優をされるかたわら、
人気TV情報番組の「ゴゴスマ」でナレーションもご担当されていらっしゃいます✨
相変わらずのポーズ、表情の引き出しの多さに感動したキャラバンサライなのでした😊
